Compostable Mesh Sponge

Gentle cleansing and light exfoliation, made from corn.

Conventional mesh sponges are polyethylene and effectively permanent. This one is polylactic acid — still a plastic, and we would rather say so, but made from corn sugar rather than oil and engineered to break down under composting conditions.

Light, high-lather, Mild. It does the everyday job without becoming a thing you feel bad about.

The cord is polyester and does not break down. Cut it off first, then cut the mesh into small pieces.

*The mesh sponge is certified compostable to [ABAP 20018]. It is made for industrial composting, where sustained heat breaks it down completely. Put it in your green bin, not a backyard heap — a home heap does not get hot enough, and it will still be there next year. Remove and discard the cord first. It is polyester and does not compost.
