"Stories of how Talitha and Paul Getty, Paul Bowles, Mick Jagger, Veruschka and Yves Saint Laurent all resided in Marrakesh have always inspired me. I’m intrigued by how they were enticed by the kingdom’s energy and dynamic and used it for influences and escapes: clothes, colors, music, interior and drugs. I wanted to create a warm and cocooning scent influenced by this era, based on personal reminiscences from the vibrant souks and lively markets in Marocco. Fragrance notes include White Honey, Amber and Sandalwood."
The scent is woody and welcoming with soft oriental spices.

Great unique smell!
"I bought the perfume after trying it in person. It is a fruity - spicy scent that I think would be lovely for anytime of year. The citrus notes come through over the wood/leather/sandalwood. I don't like sandalwood, but this fragrance made it work well! Has good longevity, too. If you can, I'd suggest trying it in person because in the bottle it smelled different than on my skin. On my skin, it is more fruit forward whereas smelling from the bottle it was more spice forward. Overall, great find! I look forward to wearing it."

"A beautiful perfume from 1969. Kasbah has lovely layers of fragrance, bringing to mind the spices and colors of the markets in the red city of Marrakesh. I purchased the smaller size. It comes in a red glass spray bottle. Enchanting!"
