Roger & Gallet
Roger & Gallet has invented hundreds of cosmetic products: soaps with various characteristics (superfine, extrafine), dental and mouth care, facial care (almond paste for the complexion, beauty vinegars), make-up products for the face (and for ... the veins), hair treatments with hair lotions and the very first hair gel called "Tenax," treatments to protect the lips with "Rosat pomade," the ancestor of lip balm, and many others.
Over time, this became a daily-use body product that was rubbed in to disinfect when bathrooms were not yet prevalent. Finally, thanks to its delicious, sophisticated and very fresh fragrance, this water has become a perfume. Even today, the four essential steps related to this technique are respected, that is to say, 80 hours of manufacture for each part.
Authentic Roger & Gallet soaps are always presented in their original format (sealed by the House seal, wrapped in sun-pleated tissue paper, in elegant boxes) and remain scented until the last use. All our fragrances are imagined by French master perfumers, our bottles are invented by great French designers and our boxes are decorated with poetic artistic illustrations.
