Jean d'Aigle
Curious and in love with nature, the outdoors has always been a source of inspiration for Jean Soutter. He grew up in the village of Aigle where, even as a child, he made herbariums listing the shapes, smells, and textures of the plants in his native Switzerland. Convinced that Nature and Man are complementary, he wanted to create an eaux de Cologne that embodied this alchemy. The house of Jean d'Aigle was born in 1945 with Cologne Chypre, a Mediterranean, exotic, and alpine blend that reflects his very essence.
Jean d'Aigle Colognes have been made for over 70 years using the same process with respect to their traditions. The birth of a fragrance is the result of know-how combined with the ritual gestures of those who make it. It is the result of the alchemy between the power of the materials and the passion of the men and women who assemble them.
