Flamingo Estate
High atop the hills of Los Angeles, hidden by a lush orchard and dense gardens, stands Flamingo Estate. It is not only the home and garden of its founder, Richard Christiansen; it’s the story of a lush orchard and pleasure garden. With the help of their friends and a network of incredible farmers, Flamingo Estate grows sage for soap and tomatoes for candles. They harvest salt from the cliffs of Big Sur, press olive oil from very old trees, and keep bees for honey.
