Carthusia
In 1948, the Prior of the Carthusian Monastery on the island of Capri discovered a volume of historic perfume formulas dating back to when the monks living there began to discover the exquisite aromatics of the herbs and blossoms on the island. With the Pope's consent, a local chemist revived the formulas and developed them into a range of fragrances called Carthusia. Today, Carthusia continues to practice its centuries-old knowledge and has an indivisible bond with Capri.
